Recipe Books

I have a lot of recipe books, but I haven't bought very many recently. There are only so many you can know intimately and store. Most of the books I use I have had for quite a long time. I know each of these books well and pretty well know what kind of thing I am likely to find in them. Here are my favourites -
Delia Smith's various publications, with her 'Complete Cookery' in pole position
Nigella Lawson's 'How To Eat' and for baking, 'Domestic Goddess'
Nigel Slater's 'Real Cooking' (his philosophy of "food tasting wonderful" is shared by me)
Good Housekeeping's Complete Cookery, circa 1979
Claire MacDonald's 'Seasonal Cooking' and 'More Seasonal Cooking'
Mary Berry's 'The Aga Book'
Madhur Jaffrey's 'Indian Cookery' - wonderful!

I've lots of others, but these are the ones I dip into constantly.
